FREE Stress Awareness Mini Conference

Join Create Connect for their Stress Awareness Mini Conference.

Tuesday 11th November 2025, 1pm-3pm

You are invited to have a stall, give a talk, or co-facilitate a short interactive workshop about the services you offer to people experiencing stress.

This mini-conference will be interactive and positive, with individuals talking about their lived-experiences and how they have overcome their stress.

What’s in store?

These are the opportunities available for you, your organisation, and the people you support –

  • A presentation about what Stress is (They have a draft presentation, however if you are interested in presenting this, they would welcome your input)
  • Talks from individuals with lived experience (They welcome any individuals who you support to tell their story)
  • Techniques to manage stress (They welcome you to co-facilitate a short workshop)
  • Networking with stalls from local organisations (They welcome you to have a stall)

Create Connect are excited to announce that Ruth will be facilitating a workshop: Experience meditation and energy circles

“Ruth brings a rich blend of experience, compassion, and mindfulness to every encounter. Having served as a carer visiting over a hundred homes and as a paramedic in California responding to 911 calls, Ruth has seen first-hand the importance of calm presence and empathy in times of stress. A passionate glider instructor, Swim Teacher/Coach a lifelong learner & mother of three, Ruth has been practicing meditation for over 20 years and facilitates the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom’s 16 Guidelines Level One Course, as well as 16G meditation sessions and Conversations That Matter. Along with experience as an Empathy Circle facilitator and Reiki Master, Ruth creates spaces where kindness, compassion, and mindful awareness come together—helping others discover resilience and balance with the power of a wise and open heart.”

  • Everyone is welcome to attend
  • Individuals, families, Parents, Carers, Professionals and Organisations are welcome too! Promote your organisation with a free stall
  • Free drinks will be provided

Location: The Create Centre, 8-10 Market Street, Denton, Manchester, M34 2XW
