Tameside Umbrella Parent Carer Forum is inviting parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to take part in a free Parent Engagement Programme this September.

The programme has been developed in response to feedback from the Parent Carer Voice Survey, where families told services they wanted more information, support and opportunities to better understand SEND services, their rights and the support available to their children and families.

Co-designed with parent carers, Tameside Council, NHS partners and other local services, the sessions will provide practical information, advice and opportunities to ask questions in a supportive environment.

  • Venue: Denton Methodist Church
  • Time: 1pm to 3pm
  • Cost: Free
