  • understand what is meant by sensory needs and why some children experience the world differently
  • recognise some common sensory needs at home and at school
  • understand how sensory needs can affect behaviour, emotions, learning, and everyday routines
  • learn how the new Tameside Sensory Needs Toolkit can be used in a practical, supportive way
