Tameside Spring Jobs Fair 2025, sponsored by Blake Ground Services and Jigsaw Homes, is taking place on Wednesday 16 April, from 10am to 1pm at Dukinfield Town Hall, King Street. The event will bring together a wide range of employers and opportunities for people of all ages, whether you’re looking to start your career, return to work, or take the next step.
Jobseekers will be able to apply for vacancies on the day and get valuable advice from professionals on skills development and training.
Tameside Council’s Routes to Work team will be on hand to offer support. This specialist supported employment service can support local residents with disabilities who attend on the day to access advice, guidance, and practical assistance.
There will be a friendly face at the front entrance of Dukinfield Town Hall to ask attendees if they need any additional support. In addition, volunteers in green shirts will be available throughout the venue to help people access employer stalls or find the most appropriate support services.
Employers include Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, The British Army, Active Tameside, Parking Patrol, First Steps Together, The Hyde Group and Tameside College.
Teams from Tameside Council will also be promoting vacancies in areas such as Fostering, Human Resources, and Children’s Social Care, as well as support from services like Tameside in Work and Routes to Work—with plenty more opportunities available.
