Following the success of our co produced Sensory Support Frameworks for Primary and Secondary, we made a commitment – alongside ISCAN and Sadie from Sensory Pie – to develop a dedicated sensory support framework for Early Years children.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Parent Carer Forum (PCF) groups who supported this work, and to all the parents and carers who generously shared their experiences, insights, and what they needed. Your voices have been central to shaping this framework, and your contributions have helped ensure it is practical, meaningful, and grounded in real family life.
We are delighted to share the Early Years Sensory Support Toolkit with you now. We are confident you will agree that this toolkit is a valuable and practical resource to support young children with sensory differences – both in Early Years settings and within your homes, where sensory needs can impact many aspects of everyday family life.
To help bring the toolkit to life and support families to use it confidently, we are offering a series of online evening sessions for parents and carers. These sessions are designed to be supportive, practical, and accessible, and we would warmly encourage you to attend if you are able.

We very much hope you can join us for what we believe will be a supportive, practical, and empowering set of sessions.
