Sensory Conference Day for Parents and Carers!

Improvement work in Tameside is moving at pace following the publication of our SEND Improvement Plan. A key strand of this work is the development of a Sensory Graduated Response, ensuring learners with sensory challenges receive timely and effective support.

Work is ongoing with our PCF’s to shape this service. Please also join one of the co-production sessions with our Parent Carer Forum (PCF) to help shape this work in advance of the conference.  These sessions are advertised on the TUPCF page.

Thanks to additional funding, and in collaboration with our health partners and Parent Carer Forums, we are excited to announce that in addition to the school-focused event, we will also host a Sensory Launch Conference for Parents, featuring:

  • The official launch of our Graduated Response
  • Active input from specialist services around sensory needs – both from within and outside the borough
  • Opportunities to shape and guide this vital work together

Please join us and save the date!  9:30am – 2:30pm 4th March at Hyde Town Hall

Book here to reserve your spot: Sensory Pathway Launch Event for Parent/Carers Tickets, Wed 4 Mar 2026 at 09:30 | Eventbrite
