Tameside Council and partners are developing Tameside’s Early Years Strategy, which will set out how services will support children and families from pregnancy through the first five years of life. The strategy will outline the changes planned and how services will work together to give every child in Tameside the best possible start in life.
To ensure the strategy reflects the needs and experiences of Tameside parents, carers, and early years professionals, insight is being collected through two online surveys:
Survey for parents and carers: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D2QKWHX
Survey for early years professionals: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5NJLLQG
Feedback gathered through these surveys will help build an understanding of what matters most to families and professionals, and will be used to shape the support available for children and families in Tameside.
Please share these links with the families you work with, relevant groups across Tameside, and colleagues. A wide range of views is needed to inform the strategy.
Both surveys will close on Monday, 30 March 2026.
