Feedback wanted on the Tameside SEND Strategy

We are inviting our professionals and parents/carers of Children and young people with SEND (Special, Educational Needs and Disability) to attend one of the two upcoming virtual meetings to provide feedback on the draft Tameside SEND Strategy.

The virtual meetings will take place on Wednesday 2 October, at 6pm and Thursday 3 October at 6pm both to be hosted on Microsoft Teams.

Recently we have been working with Greater Manchester’s Integrated Care Board (GM ICB) to run various surveys, group consultations and one-to-one interviews. From this we have developed and identified important outcomes, called I-Statements. We are now asking the people of Tameside to feedback on whether the I-Statements and Joint Commissioning Priorities are an accurate reflection of the family’s SEND needs and if the support you receive is meeting your family’s needs.

You can view the slides that are going to be presented at the virtual meetings here. To receive a meeting invitation, please register your attendance by clicking here.

If you would like to provide feedback before the virtual meetings or if you’re unable to attend, please email gmicb-tameside.central@nhs.net
