Employability Fair

Tameside Council Work & Skills team are celebrating Employability Day with our very own Employability Fair on Friday 20th June at Tameside One.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet our teams and find out more about the range of employment & training support we can offer including:

  • Work Well – Helping residents struggling with their health while working or have recently lost their job due to a health issue and need support to get back on track.
  • Tameside in Work – For anyone in work and looking to progress their career.
  • Tameside Careers Advice – Careers guidance for young people in Tameside up to age 18 or 16-24 with an ECHCP.
  • Tameside Futures – Working with young people not in education, employment, or training aged 16-18, or 16-24 if care experienced or with an EHCP.
  • Routes to Work – Our Supported Employment service helping residents with a disability find employment.

 

Local employability and training partners also in attendance include – Jigsaw, Groundwork, The Growth Company, Tameside College, and Jobcentre Plus
