Active Tameside’s Everybody Can Christmas Party
Active Tameside’s Christmas party is taking place at Dukinfield Town Hall on Wednesday 11th December from 6pm-9pm.
There will be music, food, dancing and Father Christmas.
Tickets are £6.50 per person and can be purchased online.
Bowl with Santa
This free event is taking place at Tameside Wellness Centre in Denton on Sunday 15th December. There are two 1.5-hour sessions between 11am–2pm, so places must be booked to attend either session.
All participants must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or carer throughout the session and must remain present for the entirety of the participant’s visit.
DAAFS Christmas Party
Get into the festive spirit with a magical Christmas event that is not to be missed.
Saturday 14th December, 11am-12.15pm.
Join the fun-filled workshop at the beautiful adventure shack at Werneth Low Country Park. Little ones can enjoy:
- a festive craft
- making some magic reindeer food
- a magical walk in the woods to find the missing elves
- hot chocolate
- meeting Father Christmas in a quiet setting

Climb with Santa
There will be exclusive access to the climbing session at Medlock Leisure Centre’s Sky High in Droylsden. The special Christmas event is on Sunday 22 December between 10am–12pm.
All participants must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or carer throughout the session and must remain present for the entirety of the participant’s visit.
Tameside Little Gems Christmas Party
On Sunday 22nd December, Tameside Little Gems will be hosting their Christmas party from 10am-12pm at Aqua Nurture, Knott Lane, Gee Cross.
Children can meet Santa, play Christmas games, enjoy snacks, mince pies and hot drinks, all to the sound of Christmas music.
The event is free, and all the family are welcome to attend.
Christmas Story Walks
Head along with your little ones to join Simon the Storymaker on an elf chase around the park on two dates.
Places must be booked for the free outdoor event and everybody is reminded to dress for the weather.
Monday 23rd December, at Cedar Park, Ashton from 1pm-2pm. The meeting point is the building on the park, 160 Queens Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 8EW. Book on 0161 342 2255.
